ABOUT JO BUTTERWORTH
Jo is a North Carolina native who received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Western Carolina University. She has taught High School and College English, served as a school principal, and co-founded a NC Public Charter School. During the 1980s and early 90s, Jo lived in the Bahamas and enjoyed success and acclaim as a best selling author of womens fiction (Jolene Prewit-Parker). After moving to the Charlotte area in the late 1990s, Jo achieved recognition as one of the areas leading real estate professionals. Her hobbies include boating, hiking, tennis, and horseback riding. Son, Jake is pursuing a career in Marine Biology. Husband, Chuck, a retired telecommunications exec, is the Charlotte areas first certified EcoBroker and offers his green expertise to buyers, sellers, builders, and developers.
